DELIVERY DRIVER (this is a ONCE a week position)

Job Summary:


McIntyre Pastures raises proteins on site to provide our customers
with sources of nutrient-dense foods. This position if for the delivery driver of our company truck with attached freezer,leaving the farm EVERY Thursday delivering wholesale orders, taking said company truck to scheduled neighborhood delivery drops where customers order ahead and receive product, and bringing home either beef or pork from our local processor to then sort, inventory, and put in freezer.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Safely driving and delivering product in company 1 ton pickup with large, freezer mounted to bed
• Maintaining friendly, open contact with wholesale and direct sale customers
• Keeping track of all paperwork associated with wholesale deliveries and direct sale pickups, as well as organization of orders in boxes, bags, and crates 
• Maintaining team accuracy & efficiency benchmarks.
• Picking up, counting, labeling, recording and putting away inbound inventory (ie full loads of beef, pork, and possibly chicken after harvest)
• General cleaning, maintenance and organizing of vehicle

Requirements:

• Clean driving record
      *Comfortable driving delivery truck in possible high stress situations (ie, heavy traffic, backing into tight spaces, ect)
      *Can easily lift 50 lbs and get up and down elevated truck bed

• Ability to work in a highly motivated and collaborative team environment.
• Ability to use deductive reasoning, problem solve and meet the public, with strong time management skills to maximize this day
• Willingness to report to management.
• Willingness to take responsibility for work performed, oversights, and areas of
improvement.
• Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Expected Hours:

• Hours: 8 (Thursday only)
• Typical Work-Day Hours: 8/8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. (lunch break will be given)

• Starting-wage: $16-18/hr, with potential increase after 90 days

OFFICE MANAGER (Full time position)

McIntyre Family Farms is a diverse agriculture-based business with multiple businesses housed under one roof. We are mainly known for our direct-to-consumer business that delivers high-quality and ethically raised proteins into the Treasure Valley and beyond. We also run a diverse forage and seed farm, Seed and Feed mill, and have an on farm retail where our proteins and other items can be purchased directly.

Job Summary:

This Office Manager is responsible for all general administrative, basic financial functions, and operations of the office. The Office Manager follows the established company vision and direction through all daily work and activities related to order entry, office communication, financial data entry, analysis, and bookkeeping. Due to the nature of our small family-run business, this position may be asked to pitch in and assist in other general operations duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Sort and distribute all mail, and prepare documents as required. 
  • Assist in HR duties, such as initiation of bi-annual employee review- assessments with support from department managers, and hiring and onboarding processes for new staff
  • Cleanliness and organization of office space

        Bookkeeping, Financial Data Entry Analysis, and Bookkeeping:

        Input all order invoices on a weekly basis, working closely with department managers to ensure all documentation is secured and logged 

        Accurately maintain and annually audit products in Quickbooks Online

        All accounts receivable duties, including, but not limited to: ensuring payments are received and applied correctly, communicating with customers for payment status, monthly sales entry from platforms, etc. 

        All accounts payable and bill pay duties; ensure that all transactions are logged in applicable databases

        Complete payroll through OnPay or similar program, record wages,  payroll taxes, and fees in Quickbooks Online

        Ensure all accounting compliance forms are up-to-date and complete, including the tracking of 1099 vendors and monthly state sales tax

        Complete monthly bank and loan reconciliations within Quickbooks Online. Regularly review registers for uncleared transactions 

        Maintain proper classification of income, COGS, and expenses by class

        Record monthly changes in inventory by accounting ID and class 

        Prepare and export monthly financial statements for review with the senior management team 

        Participate in annual budget development 

        Participate in  financial analysis and margin management with department managers


        General Support: 


        Store relief, pick/packing, egg washing, parts runs, physical inventory and input for store, seed house, and shop

        Management reserves the right to modify and change these responsibilities at will.

        Required Skills and Abilities:


        Extensive knowledge of office management procedures

        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

        Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

        Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

        Experience with accounting principles and Quickbooks Online 

        Experience with  basic financial analysis 

        Considerable knowledge and use of excel/ microsoft suite/ google docs

        Be able to lift 50 lbs

        A positive can-do attitude, a willingness to pitch in and participate as part of the team, and a flexible approach that doesn’t include the words “that’s not my job.”
